Meet Parrie.
My practice moves between making clothes and asking what clothes mean—how materials hold memory, how craft changes in motion, and how fashion reflects the culture around it.
A working philosophy
Make closely.
Question generously.
I am drawn to the point where materials become memory and clothes become cultural evidence. I care about sustainability without turning it into visual shorthand, and about Indian craft without freezing it in nostalgia.
Design and writing are two ways of doing the same thing for me: staying with a question long enough to understand what is underneath the first answer.
When a challenge resists an easy answer, I explore new avenues and try new approaches while holding my ground—working to do better without compromising what matters.
